Amir Talai (Alastor / Tom Trench) had no idea what he was signing up for when he auditioned for HazbinHotel, but he is grateful for the magically hellish convergence of events that led toVivienne happening upon a stranger’s randomly posted video of his performance of Bert Healyin Annie at the Hollywood Bowl. Outside Hazbin, Amir is known for numerous appearances infilm, TV, commercials, and theater. He can often be foundperforming improv at the Groundlings Theatre, where he was a member of the SundayCompany. He loves poker, reading, the Golden State Warriors, his enormous dog Joey Bear,and most of all his wife Nina and his family in San Francisco. He is incredibly grateful toeveryone in the Hellaverse, but especially the random dude who posted a video of him,Vivienne, Richard, and most of all the fans,whose grace and enthusiasm in welcoming him tothe Hazbin family have made him feel like he’s been inappropriately touched by an angel!
