2024 BADGE ARTIST

Rob O'Neil is a local artist, born in Muskegon and raised in Greenville.  After graduating high school he joined the Navy and is a Persian Gulf veteran.  During his service he used his artistic talents to design several unit badges and logos and is the creator of the USS George Washington's (CVN-73) official logo.  During his travels around the world he studied many different art techniques and styles, influenced by the illustrations and graphic works from Ireland to the far East.

When Rob returned to the U.S. he started an online hockey cartoon that produced 350 published single panel strips called "The Blue Line".  This led to a great relationship with the Grand Rapids Griffins where Rob has created several tee shirts, an award winning lunch box, coloring book and several other projects.  Rob is the illustrator for a new card game called "Stealing Scenes: Action" published by www.oneleggedgm.com.  He is also the illustrator of several of the "Hidden Worlds: Incursion" RPG books.  Rob is a regular at several comic cons and other conventions throughout the Michigan and Great Lakes area.  He is also a cosplayer who works with the League of Enchantment, bringing care packages to kids in local children's hospitals.  More details and information on commissions can be found on his website at www.robthebadger.com or on his facebook page at facebook.com/robthebadger.
