Hex Craftworks is a one woman show run by Katie Warden, she works hard to bring fantasy to

reality making one of a kind oni, nature, and mimic inspired pottery. She uses many techniques

to make her creations, including wheel thrown and hand built elements that she carefully glazes

to bring to life. Each of her pieces is unique and one of a kind.

She has been honing her craft for almost a decade. She pulls inspiration from a variety of

sources for her pieces: nature, mythology, and pop culture. Since her beginnings in pottery were

in sculpture, her current work pulls in many of those same elements into her functional ware.

Some of her favorite pieces to make and display are her mimic inspired mugs, taking inspiration

from the Mimics from modern pop culture and making them into unique one of a kind sculptured

mugs.
