TL Shively writes YA fantasy with a twist, including her debut novel, The Guardians, and later,

the Spider Trilogy, which was her own personal challenge to herself, turning her fear of spiders

into a story about Gods and Aliens. Fueled by her mother's encouragement and whimsical tales of childhood imaginary friends, she has been crafting stories since grade school.

When not working on new stories that explore different realms of fantasy, TL enjoys spending

time with her husband, family, and friends, whether playing cornhole or exploring their home

state of Michigan.
