Artist Alley Booth D-6

The artist behind Neonscrapyard is a local Michigan artist with twenty-plus years of experience doing art. Although much of her work is digital, quite a few of her pieces are mixed-media, with a heavy watercolor influence, and she specializes in merging her traditional sketches and watercolors with digital editing and painting.

Most of her personal work is inspired by her life in Southern California, through the use of bright and vivid colors. She enjoys taking every-day pieces of scenery (a cactus plant, a light pole, etc.) and breathing new and fantastical life into them. A recurring theme of hers is paying careful attention to places, things, and creatures that are otherwise overlooked.
