The artist behind Neonscrapyard is a local Michigan artist with twenty-plus years of experience

doing art. She specializes in layering her traditional sketches and watercolors with digital editing

and painting.

Most of her personal work is inspired by every-day places, items, scenery, and situations, with

themes of nostalgia, liminal space, and finding beauty in the mundane and empty. She loves

giving attention to places, things, and people that are otherwise overlooked. Her fan works focus

on magical girls and pokemon - two properties that she’s a big fan of, and lend themselves to

the bright colors and fantastic imagery of her personal work.
