Military Ticket Information

Ticket Requests are Closed for November 2022

(Military Tickets will not be available for the Spring Fling events)

The Grand Rapids Comic-Con has donated 500 tickets to the United States military for the servicemen and women and their immediate family to attend the event free of charge on Sunday, November 13, 2022. This is part of a Military Appreciation Day to attempt to give back for the tremendous sacrifices that military personnel and their families give to protect the freedoms of this nation.

“Military personnel” is defined as individuals that served in any branch of the United States military and is either currently serving or has any type of discharge with the exception of dishonorable, or family members of those Killed In Action.

Military members may receive up to four tickets* for Sunday, November 13, 2022 for themselves and their immediate family. “Immediate family” will be defined as a significant other (husband/wife, girlfriend/boyfriend, or life partner) and children (parent, guardian, or adopted) or grandchildren.

You will then receive a confirmation email that your tickets have been reserved.

*up to 4 tickets per household, in order to accommodate as many military personnel/families as possible

Check In

On November 13, 2022 there will be a door at the main entrance to the DeVos Place on Monroe Ave. NW that will be marked “Press/VIP/Military“, please enter that door. We will have a special badge and lanyard for the military service person as a way to say thank you for your service to our country.

You must bring your ID that matches the form submission, proving your involvement in the U.S Military in order to receive your badges.

Other than that, you will be able to enter the Grand Rapids Comic-Con like any other patron.
