My name is Kenn Vidro. I was born here in Grand Rapids. I studied Art and Art Education at Grand Rapids Community College, Michigan State University, and Grand Valley State University.

After graduation, I taught art in Rockford Public Schools for nearly forty years. I was lucky enough to instakll creativity in many students over the course of those years. Currently, I am retired…doing free-lance work, creating wordplay books as well as a huge variety of print illustrations of pop culture characters from the present and past. I have always used cartyooning as my favorite art style…whimsical type stuff!

I do also participate in ArtPrize annually.

I feel that I am a truly blessed man…I have a beautiful wife and four fantastic kids plus ten beautiful grandbabies! Burb is my wife (Barbie and Kenn if you haven’t figured it out yet).

I enjoy life to the fullest by laughing a lot…loving a lot…hugging a lot…eating a lot of cookies…and smiling as often as I can!
