Chris Gore is the founder and publisher of Film Threat magazine which was originally launched in Detroit, Michigan in 1985. The print magazine became a website in 1996 (FilmThreat.com), a podcast and a successful YouTube channel and has established its place as the authoritative source for independent movie reviews. The legendary magazine is now the subject of an upcoming documentary titled Film Threat Sucks. He is the author of several books including “The 50 Greatest Movies Never Made” (St. Martin’s Press), “The Complete DVD Book” (Michael Wiese Publications) and “The Ultimate Film Festival Survival Guide” (Random House) as well as the humor parody book “Celebrities Poop.” Chris has hosted television shows on FX, Starz, IFC and appeared as a regular on G4TV’s Attack of the Show covered movies on a segment called DVDuesday. Chris is also a filmmaker, having written and produced My Big Fat Independent Movie and recently directed the documentary Attack of the Doc! about the rise and fall of G4TV.
