Booth 639 (Deadmen Ink)

Emily Zelasko is an illustrator and comic artist who uses digital and traditional pen and ink for the foundation of her illustrations. Many of her illustrations and comics draw from sources such as myth and folktales. She seeks to understand the symbols in folktales to aid in the communication in her own art work with a belief that ancient tools are still relevant. Emily also works with others to illustrate their stories and is the colorist for Corpse Corp.  She spends her spare time outside having fires.

Ken and Emily are the  creative team behind the micro press title Corpse Corp, through Deadmen Ink. They will discuss the creative process and the unique challenges of running through a very small company for distribution.
