Dragon Wyck Embroidery

Booth B-2

Hello, my name is Will Anthony Hammond and I would like to share a small story with you guys.

Crafting has always been a part of my family life, my Great Grandmother sold hand made quilts to help feed her children during the Great Depression. This led to my Grandmother owning her own seamstress shop and the GM of another shop in Dallas, TX for 42 years. She also had the opportunity to make the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders outfits during a large number of those years.
As a fourth-generation Crafter I am making my own mark in my family tree of crafting making flags, dice bags, patches, stickers, and much more. My creations span all genres of Fandoms, but my personal favorites are Anime and Power Rangers.
If you had told me twenty years ago, that when my mother and grandmother introduced me to the world of crafting, that it would lead me to crafting for a living I wouldn’t have believed you. But five years ago, when someone told me that I would never amount to anything, I was able to prove them wrong. Like a duck to water, I was able to start sharing my creations as a Crafter and an Artist at Comic Cons throughout the Front Range Region. I now get to travel to Comic Cons all over the USA.
My first booth was at a spring arts and crafts fair here in my local city on my birthday in 2016 I now average 14 Cons a year and about 8 to 10 crafters fairs each year. at each Con I get to meet some of the most amazing people, some that I now call friends and others that I think of as Heroes.
