Dan Dougherty is an award-winning writer and illustrator best known for his comic strip Beardo, a slice of life comic strip with the heartwarming ending that went viral. He also writes and illustrates the ongoing supernatural thriller Touching Evil and writes the absurd comedy Floppy Cop (with co-creator and artist Seth Damoose), both from Source Point Press. In addition, he has illustrated a dozen children’s books with author DJ Corchin from Source Books, and was the 2018 Gary Reed Independent Creator of the Year recipient.

When he isn’t making comics, he’s busy teaching how to make them at the International School of Comics in Chicago.
