Ben Rodriguez latched onto the Japanese animation aesthetic in the early 80s as a child, eventually eschewing the common superhero comics for creator-owned works of the east in his reading. (Make Mine Manga!)
A graduate of Eastern Michigan University, he now draws as a freelance illustrator with companies like Palladium Books, Shanda Fantasy Arts, Postmortem Studios, and White Lightning Productions.
