Beacon Academy Midwest is a fan made community surrounding the show RWBY, created by Monty Oum and Rooster Teeth Productions. Founded on July 7th, 2014, we are proud to be able to call ourselves the Center of the Midwest RWBY Community.

Beacon hopes to bring the Midwest RWBY fandom together with Events, CMVs, Cosplay, and a welcome space for fans of the show to connect and become family. We have grown considerably over the years. Our community has branched out to multiple social platforms, not limited to but including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube. Beacon hopes to continue to inspire and bring people together.

Monty’s mantra was to “Keep Moving Forward.” That is one of our standing mantras as well; to keep persevering through any hardship, to keep bringing joy to all we can, and to celebrate the show and community we love so dearly.
