Will Jones is a SPACE prize winning comic book artist and illustrator residing in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Being a product of the 90's, he submerged himself in Disney animated films and Nickelodeon cartoons. Animation paved the way for his initial interest in art through character design and visual storytelling. Initially, comic books weren't in his art spectrum because he'd never pursued them, mainly due to comics costing money an eight year old didn't have. However, when he was exposed to his first issues of Thor, Spider-Man, and X-Men, he knew what kind of art he wanted to make.
Will's comic career is primarily built in small press comics through Source Point Press, as well as creator owned series such as 2017 SPACE Prize winner: Refugee Road (2017), Paradise Prison (2017), and Topsy McGee (2016,2019). Will has contributed artwork to tabletop games such as Monsdrawsity by Deep Water Games and Sentinel Comics: The Roleplaying Game by Greater Than Games. Will has designed past Grand Rapids Comic Con cover art in both 2015 and 2017. He spends his days reading far too many comic books. He spends his nights in hiding, hovering over his drafting table or staring into the soft glow of his computer.
