I am a project designer at AMDG Architects in downtown Grand Rapids, with a degree in architecture from Iowa State University. I grew up in the Chicago suburbs, reading Spider-man comics and watching animated superhero shows while simultaneously making my own fan comics and original superhero stories throughout my childhood. These days, this has transitioned into writing and illustrating an original graphic novel alongside a portfolio of comic fanart and original digital paintings.

I love perspective drawing and using composition & contrast to create visual interest and movement within artwork that inspires. My specialty is in pencil and inks, both traditional and digital, as well as digital coloring and rendering. I love seeking new styles and skills to learn and meeting other creatives. I am fascinated by the stories that can be told by all, no matter how experienced, through artwork and the emotion that it can invoke.
