Jen Matson is the multi-medium artist behind Stubborn Cupcake Studios. She is a Michigan native that is highly inspired by fantasy, nature, and spooky legends. Her illustrations are typically described as whimsical and cute and are mostly centered around fantasy themes or Halloween.
Although her background is Illustration she has become very passionate about creating artist dolls in recent years. Cute monsters are her specialty, inspired by the rocks she picks up on Michigan beaches, but she also enjoys making cats, dragons and cryptids.
