My name is Hazel, and I am a tattoo artist and painter currently based in Brisbane, Australia. Before starting my tattooing journey about 5 years ago, I worked as a freelance artist in the US and participated in a number of conventions displaying my artwork throughout the years. As I connected more and more with my audience, I continuously heard feedback that my work would make for great tattoos, so I decided to eventually follow that pathway. Now that travel is not as restricted, I have been traveling back to the US to reconnect with friends and family as well as the audiences that first encouraged me to learn this new art form, and I am excited to both share new paintings/sketchbook projects as well as the tattooing work I have done.

Within illustration and painting, I love focusing on natural elements and the human form, using it as a metaphor to express certain concepts or life experiences. I like to incorporate elements of the surreal and evoke emotion within the viewer. Within tattooing, I have pursued fine line and watercolor styles, and I particularly enjoy botanical illustration as well as abstract/decorative work.
