Heidi Black is a comic artist and illustrator from Cincinnati, Ohio. Their work is included in the Eisner award-winning anthology Puerto Rico Strong, published by Lion Forge, and they were the colorist for the Junior Library Guild gold medal-winning Agents of SLAM, published by Oni Press. They have also contributed to many successful projects including the 1001 Knights anthology and the Chromatic Fates tarot project.

Heidi is also an art supply fanatic who works mainly in traditional media, especially watercolor, and worked as the resident artist for JetPens for 4 years. They also have a special interest in lettering and typography, and makes their own fonts for their comic projects such as the ongoing Sons of Fire, written by award-winning Star Wars author Adam Lance Garcia.  Their online portfolio, also coded by Heidi, can be seen at http://www.electricabyss.com/conportfolio.html
