As an upcycle artist, I specialize in crafting unique, one-of-a-kind art pieces using recycled VHS tapes and discarded toys. I create with the hopes of breathing new life into these materials and keeping them from landfills.
In response to the challenges of the pandemic, I discovered a newfound need for creative outlets. I started by repurposing a box of broken toys and VHS tapes. It has been a slow process.
Over the past five years, I have showcased and sold my creations at local events and venues, such as small shows in Grand Rapids and "The Haunt of GR."
Recently, I relocated to Chicago with the aspiration of exploring new opportunities in the city's vibrant art scene.
