Hi, I’m Patrick West, a local Kalamazoo artist who grew up in Grand Rapids. Art has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember, and I’ve had the pleasure of attending every Grand Rapids Comic Con since it began back in 2013! I’m no stranger to Artist Alley either, having had tables at a few previous events and attending many more alongside my dad, who is also a professional artist.

My years of attending Comic Con have deepened my connection to the vibrant community of artists and fans, and I’m thrilled to bring my work to Artist Alley this year. Whether it’s a finely detailed pencil portrait or a digitally colored illustration, my goal is to create art that evokes emotion and sparks imagination. I specialize in pencil portraits but am gaining confidence in digital and traditional coloring, along with logo design. Marvel, Star Wars, and all things pop culture are some of my favorite subjects, but I love exploring new ideas and creative challenges.
