Megan Weber - Artist Statement:

There is a magic in the world that cannot be described. It is found among the plants and animals as they follow the cycle of life and death. I want to capture some of that magic. I let the animals guide me into the stories they want to tell, the colors they want to be. Diving into a world of my own, I illustrate their stories to celebrate during our short time on this earth. From the initial sketch to ink to colored pencil, I weave a little bit of storytelling, memento mori, and a bit of my own magic into my art.
