Andy Shaw
Andy Shaw is a freelance artist and published illustrator based in Grand Rapids, MI. Since graduating from Kendall College of Art and Design’s Medical Illustration program, he has had work exhibited in galleries in Grand Rapids and New York, and produced artwork for businesses, bands, game developers, authors, and individuals both local and abroad.
He favors traditional pen and ink drawings packed with detail and tight line work, but also delights in digital and traditional painting. Andy’s indefatigable interest in fantasy and science fiction sprouts hosts of stalwart knights and bodacious barbarians, intrepid spacefarers and cruel monsters, and landscapes of gnarled roots and billowing clouds.
