Welcome to the Grand Rapids Comic Con 5K and Fun Run!

Calling all heroes and villains to the Grand Rapids Comic-Con 5K and Fun Run! Participants are encouraged to dress up as their favorite character and channel their inner running hero.

The inaugural Grand Rapids Comic Con 5K and Fun Run is open to all ages, heroes, and villains alike! Participants are encouraged to dress up as their favorite character and channel their inner running hero. This event is all about FUN – it will take place at the beautiful Riverside Park in downtown Grand Rapids and will not be timed. All participants will be awarded specialty event medals, t-shirts, and enjoy other race perks!

The Grand Rapids Comic-Con 5K and Fun Run will be operated and supervised by the Meijer State Games of Michigan and will serve as a fundraiser for their organization.

There will be a Kids Fun Run/Walk (1/4 mile), the 5K Run/Walk, and a virtual 5K.

Other Details

To receive a custom bib and be guaranteed a t-shirt, you must register by Tuesday, November 1st.

T-shirts and medals for the virtual 5K will be available starting November 1st, 2022.

You do not have to have a ticket for the Grand Rapids Comic-Con event at the DeVos Place to enter the 5K and Fun Run. Entering the 5K and Fun Run does not include admission to the Grand Rapids Comic-Con held at the DeVos Place on November 11-13.
