Natalie Westaby’s first artistic endeavor, at the age of 4, was drawing a scene of the current museum exhibit “Backyard Monsters” on the family Ford Taurus with a rock. Her parents desperately steered her into more acceptable forms of artwork and she spent the next 18 years drawing people and weird monsters on her math homework.
She now draws people and weird monsters on their own sheets of paper, and occasionally posts them online for people to see. Sometimes they even get their own storylines. Natalie and the weird monsters both live in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
