jafax logoJAFAX (Japanese Animation, Film, and Art eXpo) is a free Japanese visual culture convention held every June at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan. Founded in 1995, JAFAX started out with just a few showing rooms at Kendall College of Art and Design and had about 150 attendees. Since then, JAFAX has grown and now attracts almost 5000 fans of anime, manga, and Japanese culture.
